What We are Looking For


We are seeking an interim HR Director specialising in Employee Engagement to help develop and refine our people processes to make our workplace even better across all facets of the company. Reporting to the MD, this position will be responsible for assisting with the development and execution of strategic initiatives and programs, including training, professional development and employee engagement. This position will require the holder of the role to work collaboratively with various stakeholders within the organisation.

What You will Do

Work with employees and managers to determine employee effectiveness and satisfaction. Use tools and resources to measure engagement and recommend and implement action.

Manage company policy education and compliance. Work with managers/supervisors to educate and ensure understanding of policies. Coach and guide managers through policy interpretation discussions and investigations.

Coordinate and execute strategies and activities for developing line manager capability. This involves working with line managers to ensure they have the resources necessary to perform the HR functions of the job (performance management, counselling, documentation, employee engagement and communications).

Build, maintain, and enhance interdepartmental relationships.

Manage mechanisms to measure, track, and report on employee engagement in the organization.

Facilitate program initiatives for effective engagement across the organization.

Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to create and drive employee engagement programs/activities.

What You will Have

Bachelors degree in Human Resources.

8+ years of Strategic HR Management/Organisational Development (specific focus on employee engagement and learning and development).

Strong facilitation, presentation, written/verbal communication skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams.

Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities with competing deadlines.

Previous experience with collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams to create and drive employee engagement programs/activities.

Ability to forge new partnerships that bridge people and organizations.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to see the big picture as well as the small details.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound business acumen and strategic judgement.

Strong team player, innovator, self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Experience in divisive action and delivering outcomes. Working to tight deadlines.
