Responsibilities:
- As a member of the Financial Planning, and Analysis team, will act as key contributor to provide support for ongoing financial planning and consolidated reporting for Global FP&A, with a strong focus on the systems & processes that enable global reporting.
- This individual will be responsible for the Hyperion Planning System & leading projects to improve our management systems.
- This individual will support the quarterly business review, the annual budget and reporting for the Board of Directors and provide analytical support for Senior Finance Management & at all levels up to the Executive team.
- Act as Finance Business partner for the Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations groups
- Working closely with Accounting on the month end and quarter end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, etc.
- Completing ad hoc analysis and decision support related to the overall organization but with particular focus on the requirements of the Dublin office.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- A minimum of three years of experience post qualification with strong systems accounting and financial planning and analysis experience
- Strong planning and analytical skills, including superior financial modelling, Excel, and financial database systems skills / knowledge (Hyperion Planning, or similar).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills appropriate for the executive level including preparation of clear and impactful PowerPoint presentations.
- Working knowledge of the pharmaceuticals industry is an advantage
- Robust knowledge of relevant accounting practices
- Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.
