For Our Client, the European leader in the construction  industry, we are looking for: Product Control Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a group of Line Product Controllers supporting various businesses
  • Execute daily P&L reporting/validation on a timely and accurate basis to Front Office, Business Control and the Finance systems in accordance with reporting deadlines/requirements
  • Prepare month-end accounting close in line with internal Financial Reporting deadlines, including Balance Sheet substantiation
  • Proactively monitor and manage controls pertaining to exceptions analysis and clearance - work closely with Operations, IT and Front Office to ensure timely resolution
  • Drive process and resource improvement
  • Monitor deadlines and resolve critical issues
  • Be responsible for people management, including motivating & developing staff
  • Ensure that performance objectives are aligned to Product Control & Firm Strategy
  • Manage Client relationships, many of them remote

Requirements: 

  • You have a graduate degree, Finance or Economics preferable but not mandatory, with 10 years’ work experience in a financial organization – prior PC experience within Investment Bank preferable
  • Possess strong Excel and process skills
  • Presents deep understanding of accounting policies and standards relating to investment banking products
  • Have excellent communication (English) and organizational skills
  • Possess control mind-set
  • You are able to work to tight daily and monthly deadlines with an attention to detail
  • You are a dedicated self-starter, with a "can do" attitude
  • Possess people leadership skills
  • You feel comfortable in change environment
  • This role will give you an opportunity to develop strong reporting and finance skills with training provided, in particular but not limited to:
