Senior SQL - Developer - ETL - BI
6 Months Rolling contract
A Global brand based in Dublin requires an experienced MS SQL server Developer for a rolling 6 month contract.
The role:
· Design, Develop, Test, Debug and deliver new interfaces based on Microsoft SQL technologies (T-SQL/SSIS/SSRS/SSAS/Power BI/ADFS).
· Develop Power BI data models, dashboards and reports.
· Design, develop and deploy reporting solutions (SSRS, Power BI).
· Design, develop and deploy integration packages (SSIS/API/sFTP).
· Liaise with third party vendors to develop and implement interfaces for integration with Applegreen’s data structures.
· Prioritise and manage ad-hoc reporting requests.
· Utilize SQL skills to interrogate each database where required.
· Identify and find solutions to missing or incomplete data scenarios.
Qualifications, experience & skills
· Proven track record in an SQL role or equivalent, supporting MS SQL Server including SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Power BI, with proficiency in writing T-SQL, Stored Procedures.
· Minimum 5 years post qualification experience.
· Design, develop and deploy Data integration solutions including ETLs and reports.
· Experience in Azure required.
· Experience using PowerShell scripts desirable.
· Implement solutions to integrate with various 3rd party tools.
· Proven ability to work with all levels of business users to gather their requirements and propose suitable solutions is key.
· Understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to interface with multiple internal teams and external partners.
· Excellent organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative.
· High proficiency in all Microsoft Office software also essential (Excel, PPT)
