Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Co. Offaly

We are looking to hire Senior Quantity Surveyor's join a large civil contractor to work on large scale road & residential civil projects in the Leinster region from a base in Co. Offaly. This would be an ideal role for someone looking to develop and progress their career with a well-established company. To be considered for the role with us you must have civil background and relevant experience.

Requirements:

·      Construction or Quantity Surveying qualification

·      An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.

·      Good IT skills with competency using Cubit, Cost-ex or equivalent.

·      Microsoft Word and Excel

·      A willingness to attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills.

·      Strong analytical skills and ability to present findings.

·      Methodical, pay attention to detail and be accurate.

·      Ability co-ordinate several different projects at the same time.

Skills:

·      Quantity Surveying

·      BOQ

·      Tendering.

·      Cost Analysis & Reporting.

·      Valuations.

·      Progress Claims.

An understanding and experience of construction procedures, methodology & specifications is essential.
