About the Role:

CPL is delighted to be partnered with a global organisation based in the heart of Cork City, the home of their Centre of Excellence. Our client is now seeking a Principal .NET Developer to join their team in a hybrid working capacity. The successful candidate will report to their Director of Software Engineering, playing a key part in development, architecture and the technical direction of the team in place. You will be working closely across internal teams, meaning the ideal candidate will not only be strong technically, but will need to have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to match.

Key Requirements:

· Designing APIs and distributed systems

· 8+ years of .NET Experience

· Experience with CI/CD Pipelines and integrating testing frameworks

· Strong working experience in one or multiple cloud providers including Azure and AWS.

· Database Experience (MySQL, Snowflake, MongoDB)

· Microservice Development

· Bug fixing and improving application performance

· Hands on Technically whilst also having the ability to lead a team of engineers

· Having a passion and desire to deliver the highest quality software and processes

· Great communication skills and a history of stakeholder management

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor of Science degree in Computer science, Engineering, or related technical field
