Maintenance Supervisor
CPL have partnered with Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) to recruit for a Maintenance Supervisor (PTO Grade) to join their team on a temporary contract, with possibility of extension.
· Pay Rate - £15.21 per/hr
· Location – DfI Roads, Mid and East Antrim Section
· Benefits – 37 days holiday per annum
· Hours – 37 hours per week
Responsibilities will include:
The PTO Maintenance Supervisor’s main responsibility is:
· Dealing with public complaints
· Dealing with claims and potential court appearances on behalf of the Department.
· Supervision of TG Roads Inspector staff.
· Dealing with Applications/Permits.
· Work planning activities, for example:
o identifying roads and footways for surface treatment works (surface dressing, overlaying, or resurfacing)
o drainage system upgrades.
· Liaise with SFO regarding utility works.
Essential Experience/Qualifications
· A BTEC Higher National Certificate in Civil Engineering or Building Studies or a degree in Civil Engineering.
AND
· Applicant must have availability of a car and a current driving licence.
Desired Experience/Qualifications
· Previous Experience in a similar role.
Relevant or Equivalent Qualifications
Applications will also be considered from applicants with relevant formal qualifications considered to be of an equivalent or higher standard to those stated.
