Our client, a well-established food manufacturer who supplies into major retailers, has an exciting opportunity for an Logistics/Inventory Administrator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support with supply chain procedures across the facility and ensure logistics are managed to the highest of standards.
Role Details:
- Office is based near Blackpool, Cork and has parking on site
- Mon-Friday 08:30 to 16:30 with an early finish on Friday (16:00)
- This is a site based role and you will have the opportunity to work one day from home once fully trained
Key responsibilities include:
- Record entries for stock movement and daily production
- Create purchase orders and sales orders on the ERP system
- Ensure appropriate insurance cover for stock locations
- Support with preparation of reports and ensure export and domestic shipping documentation is processed
- Manage internal and external stock movement
- Analyse logistical issues and generate new solutions
- Reconcile cycle counts and complete month-end reconciliations
The successful candidate
- Previous experience in an Inventory/Sales support or Supply Chain role is highly advantageous
- You will be highly organised and analytical in your approach with the ability to meet various deadlines
- Strong Excell skills
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills
- Strong team player with a friendly and warm manner
