Our client a leading, pan-European high-end consultancy are currently hiring a Commercial Director to join their rapidly expanding company. The commercial director is a high-end consultative seller, charismatic, insightful, strategic, and operational excellence focused. In this role you will report to the Ireland Managing Director.
Areas of Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy and Execution
· Ability to have a vision and an ambition for the commercial business they are responsible for.
· Develop and implement commercial strategies according to group strategy, goals, and objectives, aiming to accelerate growth.
· Ability to convert strategy into a plan, into actions and to execute them.
· Promote and expand the company’s commercial activity to generate revenues and sustainable growth.
· Ability to develop financial business plans.
· Capacity to maximise profitability - increased value, increased productivity, and cost optimisation.
· Define the most effective delivery organisation in line with the strategy.
· Encompasses all dimensions of the company in their plan.

Requirements
· Must have 5-10 years+ experience in a similar commercial director role within an established consulting company.
· A strong network of contacts with proven experience in sales and managing relationships with key clients.
· Experience in leading and developing teams to deliver on organization growth initiatives and meet company targets.
· International experience working with all organizational levels from multiple geographic locations.
· High standard of accuracy and close attention to detail, excellent written and verbal English.
· Excellent planning and organisational skills to meet timescales.
· Ability to work on own initiative, independently and as part of a team.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiastic and engaging.
Work Environment
· Hybrid role between working from home and the Dublin and Cork office.
· Some domestic/international travel occasionally.
· Flexible re location between Dublin and Cork.
