Cpl in partnership with our client Pfizer are seeking an Access and Value Manager to join the team in Dublin, Ringsend for a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a hybrid working role.
Primary Function
- Lead the compilation and customisation of economic evaluations, such as horizon scans, rapid reviews, HTA’s and MMP submissions incorporating inherent modelling such as CMA/CEA, CUA and BIM to meet the Irish submission evaluation requirements and timelines to support the successful reimbursement of new existing Pfizer Healthcare Ireland medicines, vaccines, and Gene Therapies.
- Work closely with all Access and Value colleagues in the development/implementation of Pfizer strategies and plans to ensure timely access and/or reimbursement, avoid price erosion and maintain listing as a result of tenders & contracts.
- Support the Access & Value Lead in the development and implementation of market access strategies for new and existing medicines, vaccines, and Gene Therapies, in collaboration with regulatory, medical, and commercial colleagues both locally and globally.
Main Responsibilities
- Work cross functionally with commercial, medical, and corporate affairs to deliver aligned external strategies to support the reimbursement process and manage internal expectations and communications.
- Partner with Pricing Analytics to design, implement and execute Value Based/Outcomes Based Agreement to design, integrating HEOR/RWE and other available data sources.
- Partner with the Access & Value Lead, and Value and Evidence manager, in the identification and generation of local research and data generation such as HEOR/RWE, that’s supports direct/collaborative projects to generate Irish specific, resources and outcomes data to support PE evaluation and/or publications.
- Facilitate meetings with healthcare professionals, HSE and other key stakeholders and establish strategic collaborations to demonstrate value for identified therapy areas/products, piloting with Payers, Physician Thought Leaders and/or Academia.
- Partner with the Access and Value Lead & Global Access and Value in supporting the team with maximising any opportunities for Joint Assessments like JCA and Beneluxa where they present an opportunity to reduce time to reimbursement.
- Support the Access & Value Lead with the strategy across all launch products, including all external negotiations and discussions, with a view to reducing patient time to access/reimbursement.
DESIRED SKILL SET
Experience & Background
- University Degree Level with extensive experience in the healthcare / pharmaceutical industry.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience and demonstrated experience with health economic tools development, pharma economic submission development, pricing / reimbursement, and stakeholder relationship management.
- Excellent Communication skills, both oral and written including excellent Presentation Skills.
- Strong strategic and problem-solving skills including creativity and effectiveness in identifying and managing major strategic challenges.
- Exceptional project management skills with a track record of successfully operating and achieving results in a matrix environment, influencing stakeholders and leading change.
- A commitment to excellence – both in the results achieved and in how they are achieved. Ideally with an understanding of Irish business and healthcare landscape & a firm grasp of customer needs for both Pharmacoeconomic Assessment and Outcomes Research data.
- Expertise in Health Economics/ Outcomes Research with recent therapeutic and / or methodological peer reviewed publications a plus
