Flexsource Solutions is currently recruiting for a Senior Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to assist our Client's warehouse management team in maintaining the smooth operation of the fast-moving dispatch operation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and that company health and safety policy and processes are effectively implemented across all activities.
  • Creates a culture of exceptional H&S standards. Monitors and identifies areas for improvement as a matter of course.
  • Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
  • Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of goods meets customers timescales/requirements
  • Supervise and control order picking and goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage
  • Deliver the product to the customer on time, every time using appropriate methods
  • Coordinate the weekly driver manifesto to ensure maximum efficiency of our customer deliveries
  • In conjunction with the Dispatch Manager, implement warehouse and management systems and working practices in line with best practice and continuous improvement
  • Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in line with the warehouse management system and ensure all stock movements are recorded to ensure accuracy
  • Build team philosophy and cultivate a team atmosphere by working with the team to achieve the company's targets
  • Planning, managing and adjusting staffing levels to meet daily operational requirements within the warehouse
  • Manage Manpower resource effectively to support customer delivery requirements and also Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Set an example of exceptional standards in all activities, language and communications
  • Ensures the team has the skills and motivation to carry out their roles to the best of their abilities
  • Is constantly visible and accessible to the team

  • Excellent punctuality and attendance

  • Computer literate with good numeric skills
  • Forklift Licence essential - Counterbalance, Reach & PPT

 Key Requirements

·         Own transport

·         Full drivers licence

·         Forklift licence-Counterbalance, Reach & PPT

·         Willing to work shift - Monday to Friday - 8 am - 5 pm

Salary: € 30K
