Job Description

An exciting opportunity to be involved in a major events project that is due to be held in the UK in 2019 within a highly established company located in Dublin 1!

Immediate start required

Role breakdown:
Planning and Organising

  • To develop relationships and assist with the recruitment of suitable trade partners such as 4* and 5* hotels, Venues, etc.
  • To manage all design and print requirements for the event
  • To develop and create an engaging and targeted communications campaign both (online and offline) for over 300 potential client registers to attend the event
  • To effectively manage the website for registration and manage RSVPs
  • Liaise with agency partners on a regular basis to ensure successful delivery of the project
  • To manage and evaluate the post-event questionnaires and communicate results to the team

Stakeholder Management

  • To manage relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external contributing to the successful delivery of workshop
  • Liaise with key suppliers to ensure that all activity is delivered successfully within time and budget
  • Provide advice and guidance to partners to ensure they achieve maximum return on investment from the market
  • Evaluation, Procurement and Budget Management
  • Ensure all activities are delivered on time and on budget
  • Assist with all budgetary requirements
  • Carry out all other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working on a major events project or similar is essential
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Power Point design as well as being familiar with website updates and design
  • Individual must be highly organised with excellent initiative and also be able to work as part of team
  • Must have experience with stakeholder management and relationship building
  • Must have experience with budgets and reports 
  • Must be available immediately and be able to commit to at least 3 months of project duration

Salary: €46k

Location: Dublin 1

Start: Immediate
