Cpl in partnership with our client Pfizer are currently recruiting for a Real World Data Expert for an initial 18 months contract based in Pfizer’s Citywest site.

The successful candidate requires a highly motivated scientist with the skillset and pioneering attitude to undertake medical stakeholder engagement and high-profile project management relating to registries, real-world data (RWD) generation and digital transformation across the Western European cluster, with a particular focus on medical dermatology and patient-focused digital RWD solutions.
 
RESPOSIBILITIES
  • Act as internal coordinator for Pfizer’s efforts to partner with registries and other sources of RWD in medical dermatology and coordinate support for RWD capacity building across Western Europe
  • Act as in-house expert on RWD methodology, trends and development
  • Work to integrate novel patient-focused digital outcome measures and other RWD solutions into registries and non-interventional studies
  • Be the point of contact for internal cross-functional stakeholders
  • Work with colleagues across Western Europe to develop capabilities relating to novel types of data generation and analytics
  • Leverage excellent interpersonal and networking skills to engage and support the clinical and research community in generating insights that benefit dermatology patients and provide insights into the risk/benefit profiles and optimal use of our products
 
YOUR PROFILE
  • Scientist (PhD / MD / PharmD) with proven track record in your field, applications with a background in epidemiology, biostatistics, dermatology and direct experience of working with healthcare data and patient registries highly desirable. Your background and personality allow you to engage in meaningful peer-to-peer interactions with RWD stakeholders
  • A commitment to working in the best interest of patients and within all relevant compliance and regulatory frameworks
  • Practical experience with data regulations and standards including GDPR
  • Project management experience with examples of delivering high quality work
  • Experience in inflammation & immunology, particularly dermatology, highly desirable
  • Expertise in all forms of evidence generation (including novel data-generating technologies; trackers, wearables, app-based collection)
  • Good understanding of Western European health care environments
  • Good knowledge of drug development and clinical trials (especially non-interventional studies)
  • An understanding of health economics and its impact on medical decision making
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical Industry, including knowledge of regulations for approval and reimbursement of drugs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Pro-active mindset, self-starter with business acumen. Ability to create new concepts and innovative solutions.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%) across Western Europe cluster (WEC) WEC: BeNeLux, Austria, Switzerland, Nordics, Greece, Portugal and Ireland)

  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Other languages (French, German, Dutch, Greek, Portuguese, Scandinavian languages) advantageous
 
CONDITIONS
  • 18 Months Contract Initially with possible extension
  • This position would be based in Ireland but would involve travelling to the WEC cluster offices in Benelux, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Portugal.
