Our Client, a leading FinTech company is looking for a Pricing Lead to join their foundation for success for pricing managers who are expert in pricing methodologies and market benchmarks for merchant acquiring pricing as well as technology pricing including SaaS, subscription and perpetual software licencing options.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating pricing strategies that balance market dynamics, client’s preferences and value creation.
Primary Objectives
  • Setting segment-based new merchant pricing strategy for the organisation
  • Reviewing portfolios for clients with sub-optimal pricing and proposing price improvements
  • Maintaining new/existing merchant pricing policy and ensuring pricing policy is enforced
  • Maintaining the new merchant pricing model used by Business Consultants
  • Oversight of strategy for handling inbound repricing requests from merchants
  • Evaluating the impact of new/increased card association fees. Presenting expected financial impact and recommending options to Management
  • Developing high degree of familiarity with interchange and its implications on different merchant segments
  • Presenting alternatives and expected revenue vs attrition loss from potential price increases
  • Building and maintaining market knowledge and researching competitor pricing practices
  • Continuously adapting
  • pricing strategy in order to protect existing pricing power and manage price increases/decreases in line with existing economic environments
  • Enforcing the strategic pricing policies and ensuring all stakeholders within the sales process fully understand and adhere to the policies
  • Providing guidance on setting and adjusting target pricing levels, in order to maximise margin and revenue
  • Standardising approach to Price Change requests; developing easy-to-use templates for the Sales and Relationship Management community
Expirience & Attributes
  • Experience of the payments or fintech industry is required for this role
  • 5+ years pricing management experience.
  • Hands-on experience in both e-commerce and POS merchant acquiring pricing an plus
  • Hands-on experience in enterprise software and technology pricing
  • Financial savvy, results driven
