Kitchen Showroom Manager

My Client is a leading supplier to the construction industry and are recruiting for a Kitchen Showroom Manager to lead their team in Bangor. Responsible for operating a profitable showroom growing a portfolio of clients, maintaining showroom standards and managing a team of up to five people, you will be joining a committed and skilled team in a business that pride themselves on the opportunities people have to progress through the Company. This is an urgent opportunity and shortlisting will be immediate.

Responsibilities will include

  • Managing and motivating the kitchen showroom team to achieve targets
  • Liaise with both public and trade customers to develop an understanding of their kitchen requirements, aspirations and budgets
  • Create customised kitchen plans using 20/20 Fusion CAD software package and provide quotations accordingly
  • Generate sales to both trade and retail customers at an agreed acceptable margin for kitchen and related products
  • Manage and achieve budgeted sales figures and margin for department
  • Ensure customer quotations are reviewed and followed up to generate sales and ensure a high standard of customer service
  • Follow up on sales leads, including self builds and development opportunities to achieve sales
  • Merchandise showroom ensuring displays are up to date and that daily checks are conducted to ensure all items meet display standards
  • Put forward ideas for sales promotions to ensure sales targets and objectives are achieved within the department working with the Marketing Department
  • Be available to work Saturday mornings to ensure adequate cover within the Showroom on a rotational basis

Ideal Candidate

  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of kitchen design and products
  • Experience of dealing with the general public and trade customers
  • Experience of working in a sales and customer focused environment and exceeding sales targets while managing a team
  • Experience of CAD design package(s)
  • Clean driving licence
  • Min 4 GCSE (or equivalent) passes C or above including Maths and English
