I am now recruiting for a senior developer who is also design focused architect.
My client is a truly global organisation and handles trillions of dollars in transactions every year. Moreover, they have access to one of the world's biggest datalakes, so if you're interested in a company that is truly at an enormous scale then this role would align nicely with this objective.
The role will work on scalable distributed system revolved around a microservices architecture.
These fintech projects require complex thinking and working in tandem with a multitude of different engineering teams working towards the common goal. There is a massive technical diversity within this centre, from java software engineering, mobile engineering, data engineering, data science, DevOps etc.
This will be a great opportunity to get exposure to many technical disciplines and work with talented colleagues.
The role has the following technical requirements:
Expert in Java ecosystem.
Have a keen eye on design patterns and are an abstract thinker on the overall architecture.
Developing Spring Boot based microservices, Restful APIs.
API gateway or API management tools like Mulesoft, Apigee, Axway.
Experience with Relational and non-Relational databases.
Public cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP)
Containerisation/Virtualisation Tools - Docker/K8S.
The role will encompass all areas of the SDLC from Design, Development to Deployment.
You will be able to articulate yourself so you can get your ideas across in design meetings and also bringing junior developers up to speed on the overall architecture of the projects.
This role comes with a salary of 80-90k plus benefits. It will be 6 months remote until Jan 2021 and there will be onsite commitments then.
