CPL have partnered with a Galway based fintech business for their latest hire. Due to continued growth, they seek a candidate with good knowledge of IT systems and prior experience in the retail sector. This is a full-time, permanent position which requires shift work on a rotation basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent IT graduate perhaps with prior retail experience. 

• Being the first line of support to our clients customer base and offering advanced support by answering customer’s technical queries and solving issues remotely. 
• Logging all calls in our clients ticketing system. 
• Ability to learn quickly and take ownership of client issues. 
• Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical customers. 
• Responding to phone calls, emails and tickets in a timely manner. 
• Escalating issues internally with the relevant departments and following up to ensure issues are fully resolved. 
• Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical customers. 
• Updating customers in a confident and reassuring manner. Keep Knowledge Base articles up to date and adding new articles as required. 
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues. 
• Escalating IT issues to the IT manager where necessary. 

• 1 year + experience in IT / Retail / Software Support or Call centre required 
• Networking Knowledge 
• Operating Systems Knowledge 
• SQL Knowledge 
• Web technologies 
• Confident when dealing with customers. 
• Problem solving skills. 
• Knowledge of web hosting and email technologies. 
• Strong interest in I.T. Ability to learn quickly. 
• Team player.
