My client, a leading provider of specialist healthcare products are currently recruiting an Inventory Analyst to join their expanding team in Cork.

What you will be doing:

  • Management of slow moving and short shelf life inventory, following remediation processes to reduce write offs
  • Lead inventory review meetings across business functions to drive stock optimization
  • Project Lead on Inventory related projects
  • Actively work to resolve Supply & Demand gaps
  • Identify long term supply constraints which may result in out of stock product and develop contingency plans 
  • Develop standardised inventory management and reporting processes across Group
  • Weekly/monthly exception reporting
  • Oversee product set up process and ongoing maintenance of master material data
  • Work with the Purchasing Team researching past sales trends and keep informed of current sales trends that may influence inventory demand

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Educated to Degree level in Finance, Engineering, Business Management or relevant field
  • Experience in presenting to cross functional audience at all levels
  • Technical experience with business intelligence platforms (i.e. Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, SAP)
  • Proficiency in at least one MRP system
  • Flexible approach to all areas of the role and must be available for travel to attend meetings across Ireland and UK
  • Supply Chain experience is highly desirable
