Job Description

This position reports to the Director, Forecasting & Operations for the International Region. The International Business Planner will collaborate with the Sales Team and cross-functional Business Partners to develop Shipment forecasts using historical data, customer insights, marketplace trends and promotional plans.

The International Business Planner will help streamline as well as improving current reports, processes, and databases. This role will help optimize the data flow from our Forecasting Templates into a cohesive Global Forecast Database. The role will also own region-specific deliverables and operate as a subject matter expert in various forecast related areas.

What You’ll Work On:

• Support the bottom-up forecasting process and rollup for International (EMEA & APAC) business regions
• Streamline and enhance our current forecasting process so it is consistent across all Country/Clusters, ensuring the database creation process is efficient
• Perform complex analysis of datasets, build accurate data mappings and conduct data validation, including trouble shooting discrepancies or issues
• Support the weekly forecast consumption process for your region and capture weekly updates/changes to the forecast
• Collaborate with the Sales Team and internal business partners on POS forecasts and create Shipment forecasts based on WOS targets and On-Hand inventory requirements
• Conduct monthly forecast reviews, providing key insights to forecasts trends, risks and opportunities
• Ad hoc analysis to identify sales trends, opportunities and risks
• Refine business processes to optimize tasks and improve forecast accuracy
• Manage monthly bottom-up/top-down forecast reconciliation process

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of experience in Sales Forecasting, Demand Planning, or FP&A with a consumer-packaged goods company, preferably in electronics
• Highly analytical with strong technical skills: showcases an intellectual curiosity with attention to detail on all projects and deliverables, ability to independently troubleshoot and root cause problems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency with large datasets is a must
• Ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze data sets
• Highly productive: works with limited oversight on a day to day basis
• Expert multi-tasker and prioritiser: experience (and preferably an enjoyment of) balancing numerous different priorities and demands
• Consumer-first and positive thinker: motivated to work hard in a fast-paced environment producing high quality work and projecting a positive attitude
• Outstanding follow-through, time management and planning skills to deliver results
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience working with a Sales & Marketing organization
• Knowledge of forecasting systems & SAP
• Experience with advanced visualization tools like Tableau and prior Marketing/Finance analytics experience a plus
• Master’s degree or related equivalent
