Cpl HR are delighted to partner with our client on a retained and exclusive basis to recruit for the role of HR Manager. This is a permanent position in a very exciting time for our client. This role will be progressive, requiring a candidate that can demonstrate commercial savvy, stakeholder management and a passion for HR.
The successful candidate will be responsible for improving and coordinating the HR infrastructure, including HR policies and management, recruitment processes, HR administration, staff engagement / well-being and other HR operations
Manage, with the assistance of an outsourced HR service provider, day to day operations of HR.
Develop and implement all relevant HR policies adhering to any statutory / other governance requirements.
Develop an effective performance management system.
Devise and implement a full compensation and benefits plan for the agency.
Run and organise all recruitment tasks
On-board and support new hires
Ensure all HR documentation is stored and managed in a compliant manner.
Ensure all employees have completed all necessary training to comply with required policies.
Be the primary contact for HR professional services vendors
The ideal candidate will have a relevant HR qualification
Minimum of 7 years relevant experience.
Ability to work on own initiative is essential.
Prior corporate establishment experience considered an advantage.
Experience of state and/or semi state bodies will be a distinct advantage.
A hands-on people centric approach with an ability to challenge the status quo to add value.
Personable yet professional manner.
Experience of performance / HR systems and process setup a distinct advantage.
Confident and assertive.
Values collaborative team work and fosters trusting relationships.
Highly organized and used to working to strict deadlines.
