HR Business Partner

Job Purpose

To contribute to the implementation of the local and global HR strategy, partner with Heads of Function to provide HR support. Ensure that HR is a valuable contributor to the needs of the business in achieving its overall vision by working with management on their people strategy. Coach and empower managers on people relations issues. Embed HR excellence locally, utilising resources made available from Group HR to support this.

Key Responsibilities#

Work closely with the Head of HR to support and deliver Group and Company strategic and tactical initiatives in accordance with roadmap for HR

Assist in the design and development of best practice HR processes and procedures including the auditing of current HR processes to ensure compliance and adherence with Irish legalisation and Group policy.

Assist in the development of the company Wellness strategy and design initiatives which promote wellbeing for the Company driving engagement across the organisation

Act as a driver for change in the organisation regarding the company culture and values by providing insights and ideas to build employee engagement

Lead and deliver key company and group projects using strong stakeholder management and project management skills to embed success

Drive the Talent Mapping process to generate meaningful conversations regarding talent to determine capabilities required within the business function and identification of talent, succession and progression plans are put into action.

Coach and support managers and our people throughout the employee lifecycle including onboarding, performance management, exit interviews etc.

Partner with Line Managers and strategic partners on talent development plans for their business areas

Help to equip our managers to address performance management issues and assist where necessary to ensure people are working to their full capacity and capability

Provide guidance, challenge and support as part of the calibration process at year-end, ensuring a fair and consistent approach is followed.

Coach managers through difficult scenarios and equip them with knowledge and skills so they can effectively manage their team and confidently deal with any people related challenges and issues thus reducing the need for formal, remedial action

Partner and support managers on Employee Relations issues in line with company policies and procedures to include attendance management, performance management, disciplinary and grievance issues

Act as change agents within the business supporting our managers and people through advising on organisational design, preparing our people and executing any OD plans.

Foster and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders including managers, strategic partners, learning and development and the wider HR teams accords the Group.
