My client, a leading provider of specialist healthcare and scientific products and services, currently have an amazing opportunity for an Inventory Analyst to join the team. As an Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for the proactive management of group inventory across all territories.

What you will be doing:

  • Management of slow moving and short shelf life inventory, following remediation processes to reduce write offs
  • Lead inventory review meetings across business functions to drive stock optimization
  • Project Lead on Inventory related projects
  • Actively work to resolve Supply & Demand gaps
  • Identify long term supply constraints which may result in out of stock product and develop contingency plans 
  • Develop standardised inventory management and reporting processes across Group
  • Ensure SLA and KPI’s are met
  • Support best practice between various warehouse locations
  • Weekly/monthly exception reporting
  • Oversee product set up process and ongoing maintenance of master material data
  • Actively seeks creative supply solutions to optimize stock management
  • Work with the Purchasing Team researching past sales trends and keep informed of current sales trends that may influence inventory demand

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Educated to Degree level in Finance, Engineering, Business Management or relevant field
  • Experience in presenting to cross functional audience at all levels
  • Technical experience with business intelligence platforms (i.e. Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, SAP)
  • Proficiency in at least one MRP system
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Excellent level of Microsoft Office knowledge/ skills
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Flexible approach to all areas of the role and must be available for travel to attend meetings across Ireland and UK
  • Supply Chain experience is highly desirable
