My client is seeking a strategic, energetic and commercial General Manager to lead a team of 20-25 in West Cork.

Some of the key responsibilities:

  • Oversee sales functions, strategies, operations and overall performance
  • Drive profitable results, whilst reporting on financial KPIs to the Board of Directors
  • Provide scalable solutions across the company and drive growth across a multitude of projects
  • Oversee purchasing and procurement activities
  • Instil a positive culture of performance evaluation and development
  • Supervise efficient logistics across the business

The successful candidate: 

  • Proven track record of successfully leading growing teams, ideally in a low margin service driven entity
  • Commercial acumen and ability to identify new opportunities in a highly competitive market
  • Strong financial background (Accountancy/Financial qualification is a bonus!) with an analytical mindset and ability to use Excel
  • Experience of implementing effective change
