The Role:

You will be responsible for automating infrastructure and develop tools that allow our development teams to safely and efficiently deploy their applications and services to the cloud. The person selected for this role will have a strong understanding of DevOps and Cloud software development concepts.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop logging and monitoring infrastructure requirements and planning
  • Responsible for logging and monitoring metrics for global software deployments
  • Contributor in the design of cloud systems for a diverse set of internal customers within 3M
  • Responsibility for service level agreements for logging and monitoring services
  • Ownership of logging and monitoring infrastructure

Your experience and background: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university
  • 3+ years of with logging and monitoring design for software systems
  • 2+ years of deploying systems and applications in an enterprise environment
  • 2+ years writing code to automate the management of IT/Infrastructure services
  • Experience writing shell scripting and Perl/Python programming
  • Experience with Linux administratiion
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Cloud
  • Experience with infrastructure operations teams
  • Certification: AWS DevOps Engineer / SysOps Administrator
