BIM Lead Technician Engineer

 

Our client, a semi-state organisation, is embarking on a review and refurbishment of its vast infrastructure and assets portfolio, is seeking to recruit a  BIM Technician Engineer,  to join its specialist Engineering Design Team based in Dublin north.

The successful BIM Technician Engineer will take the lead in developing and implementing BIM standards, documentation and workflow processes and ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with agreed BIM protocols.

The BIM Technician Engineer will develop designs / standards across a range of disciplines including; architecture, mechanical, electrical and civil and will report directly to the Design Manager.

 

To be considered for the role you must: 
Hold a Third Level qualification (level 7) in architecture or Engineering (or similar)

Have more than 5 years experience in an Architects or Engineering design office (or similar)

Hold Level 1certificate in BIM

Be proficient in BIM modelling packages including; Revit, AutoPlant, AutoCAD 3D.

Have strong IT skills.

Be proficiency in Word and Excel

Be proficient in the English language (spoken, written, technical). 

Be competent dealing with a range of stakeholders.

Have excellent communication skills and strong persuasive skills.

 

Ideally you will: 
Hold Level 2 certificate in BIM

Have experience in implementing and integrating BIM standards

Have Team Leader skills and experience.

Have a working knowledge of Bently Microstation.

Have an understanding and an appreciation of GIS

Have a working knowledge of roads design, mechanical services, mechanical piping and electrical services.

Attractive long-term contract (c 24 months) with longer term potential.

Remuneration package will reflect the qualifications, experience and fit of the candidate. However the ideal candidate can expect c €80,000 per annum
