Job Description

A Client of mine is looking for someone to offer Bid Management & Operations Support.
This is a 9 Month contractor role with the view of extension to start ASAP

Details of the role:

  • Bid Management - Bid Proposal Management responsible for coordinating production and delivery of winning proposals
    • Manage the end-to-end bid process from inception through to winning the bid & solution delivery
    • Develop/implement strategies that improve bid function, competitive position, delivery, & brand
    • Form/lead/manage bid teams
    • Manage/control project resources & develop strong relationships with all consultants/PMs/Sales
    • Ensure detailed/accurate gathering of customer/partner requirements
    • Prepare/review commercial aspect of bids to ensure accurate pricing
    • Develop/manage/deliver comprehensive bid proposals/presentations
    • Negotiate with key stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
    • Scope solutions in-line with requirements. Collaborate with other functions to develop appropriate, competitive, fully costed & compliant bids that are commercially & technically viable
    • Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects in-line with bid proposals & all targets
    • Create/maintain exceptionally high-quality documentation
    • Administer financial management of P&L & bid budgets
    • Gather/analyze/present comprehensive reporting including an up to date bid/proposal SharePoint
    • Ensure all risks are fully captured/documented/managed
    • Develop bid processes & frameworks to ensure compliance with relevant governance requirements
    • Lead/manage Bid Assurance processes to drive quality/relevance
    • Develop/manage effective knowledge management processes
  • Campaign Management – Engagement lead to drive campaigns and initiatives to support and drive pipeline generation
    • Be the voice of engagement metrics and collaborate across product, marketing, and business teams to define and execute engagement initiatives and campaigns that make an impact
    • Ultimate accountability for developing and delivering a fully integrated campaign Programme that supports business objectives
    • Work closely with the sales development team to build strong target account lists for their outbound sales campaign
    • Constant assessment of planned and active campaigns with the objective of identifying further opportunities for a target audience
    • Collaborate with team members to manage campaigns through planning, development and execution, resolving campaign issues to ensure they deliver on the campaign plan and meet or exceed campaign expectations
    • Leverage analytical insights to drive effective decisions for any future campaigns
    • Campaign ownership – including content development, launch, execution and ongoing tracking
  • Special projects – manages a small number of key projects that are sponsored and supported by the Senior Leadership team
    • Work with numerous stakeholders, understand their needs and build effective relationships
    • Apply a range of approaches to planning and gathering information in which to develop and facilitate successful project delivery
    • Use a variety of communications methods to deliver information relevant to the audience and projects’ needs
    • When faced with issues, applies lateral thinking and analyses available information to solve problems and engages with teams to resolve
    • Problem solves any issues with teams and external suppliers and conclude disputes successfully and independently
    • Acts as an escalation point to any Team Member or Supplier
    • Feeds back to the Senior Leadership team about their Projects’ performance.
  • Sales and Business operations support
    • Interface between sales people and back office for booking orders and invoicing
    • Write and produce Statement of Works
    • Work with the back office team to raise related 3P POs and complete supplier invoicing
    • Work with the back office team for customer invoicing and follow up on any issues, escalations or disputes
    • Track and administer supplier and customer POs for contractor resources including approval for timesheets and expenses
    • Approve vendor proformas and Invoices
    • Initiate and manage to conclusion Vendor creation and change requests

The Ideal candidate would have:

5-7 years expierence dealing with bid management
A background in a large Tech multinational
Driven, motivated with  career progression  in  mind
Excellent IT  proficiencies  
Project  management  background
Expierence  in  operations  for  a large  multinational
