Job Description

About this Role:

The purpose of the Asset Manager Workout Commercial Real Estate is to support the portfolio manager and assist in the management of a portfolio of debtors to agree and implement debt management strategies to maximize recoveries for commercial real estate.  

The Asset Manager Workout will also be responsible for conducting due diligence, relationship management and in conjunction with colleagues on the Real Estate team ensuring minimal delays in getting assets onto the market through effective and efficient relationship management and implementation of process controls to minimise risk.

 

Location:

Dublin or Shannon

 

Key Responsibilities:

 Relationship Management/Debt Restructuring - maximise financial return through development and implementation of effective debt management strategies 

 Financial Management – Maximise the financial return for our capital partners through effective debtor management 

 Portfolio Due Diligence and Analysis

 Asset Management

 Analysis and Reporting - Produce accurate and reliable Management Information for Senior Management/EXCO on the portfolio 

 

Key Performance Indicators:

 Achievement of portfolio KPI’s

 Quality of assessment and strategy proposals 

 Accuracy, quality and efficiency of due diligence

 Feedback from Commercial Real Estate team

 Turnaround times on getting assets to market

 Relevance, quality, accuracy and timeliness of reports

 

Skills & Experience:

 Proven experience within a portfolio management or debt restructuring role

 APA in Housing Loans or QFA (essential)

 Relevant Business degree or equivalent qualification

 Experience of working on cases involving insolvency / liquidation / receivership / examinership (preferable)
