CPL have partnered with a leading International Financial Advisory Business with a location in Galway. Reporting to the Head of Client Management, you will be a CIP qualified professional experienced in developing new business channels and driving revenue through deep analysis and joint business planning. This is an excellent role located in Galway City that doesnt come around too often. This would suit a mid-level candidate with 3 years experience in a similar role looking to make their next career move.


  • Insight through analysis: Gathers data and uses compelling analysis to identify opportunities to target new clients. Liaises with internal lines of business to refine opportunities and build a compelling story to sell to the business then project manages and supports pursuit teams to execution
  • Pipeline analysis: Takes pipeline reporting, analysis and insight to the next level brings together multiple data sources, conducts insightful analysis and reviews of the data then reports to senior stakeholders in Ireland. Use compelling tools such as Power BI (no previous knowledge required) to present data. Work with internal BD teams within each
  • Value proposition: Contributes to clear articulation of a combined value proposition for products and services and for the client Ireland. Able to contribute to the build of a compelling story that differentiates us vs competitors
  • Joint Planning and Business Development: Ensuring that high quality research packs are developed and circulated in advance of prospect planning meetings and that targeted research materials are developed to support ongoing business development initiatives. Work with marketing colleagues and lines of business to ensure relevant marketing initiatives and campaigns reach key prospects identified
  • Global Industry Communities: Maximise awareness of the Industry Expertise ato support development of new business opportunities:
  • Supporting and driving regular updates from the Regional Industry Heads, including newsletters, Town Hall and other internal events ensuring relevance and use by pursuit teams
  • Ensuring that high profile initiatives and new business wins relating to the Industry are regularly profiled via internal communications channels
  • Developing bespoke Industry materials and presentations to communicate with internal stakeholders as required
  • Other Major Responsibilities:
  • Building robust MI for the team, including the maintenance of the client Tier 1/Tier 2 list and prospect and client pursuit lists via X-LOB, NEW NEW, Outreach & Client Relationship Director (CRD) programmes.
  • Monitoring the development of account plans and tracking progress against agreed actions; Supporting all aspects of the joint planning process, prior to, during and following prospect planning meetings.
  • Taking responsibility for preparing cross-selling data, including penetration analyses of key accounts and the identification of growth opportunities;
  • Ensuring that high quality presentation and positioning materials are developed and maintained;
  • Supporting the roll-out of key Industry initiatives and campaigns.
  • Bid Management: Working with our WE Bid Management Colleagues & senior colleagues in Ireland, the bid management role will involve
  • Undertake a strategic Bid/No Bid exercise with CRD
  • Create central repository of Bid Management material
  • Project manage, co-ordinate and own the bid process from inception to end
  • Write and contribute to content where appropriate
  • Review and proof-read drafts and effects improvement
  • Coordinate all Graphic design and visuals
  • Coordinate input from all contributors and produce a final response document
  • Produce new stage presentations or placemats
  • Will work with the Central Bid Management team on all Large Account opportunities


  • CIP qualified
  • Proven analytical skills and competence manipulating data (excel) and PowerPoint presentations
  • Strong project management skills

  • IT & systems literate
