How did you land your current job?
I landed my current role by looking through LinkedIn. I saw the role as it happened to appear, I applied and after a few weeks after doing all the interviews etc I got the call from Virtustream to ask when I could start. I was in the right place at the right time.

Whose work (individual or company) from within your industry do you admire and why?
The person I admire most within the IT industry would be Virtustream’s Senior Customer Service Director Damien O’Halloran. I admire his ability to be super cool in any situation & how he leads by example while also treating all the employees of Virtustream the same no matter what.
Looking back on your career so far, what tips would you give to someone thinking of doing something similar?
One tip I’d give to anyone whom wants to get into IT – start now, start as soon as you can. Pick up a IT manual or book or start watching videos on YouTube. If you aren’t getting the experience you need from asking different companies, get out there and DIY it. Start a small business, get your name out there and the rest will fall into place!
