Duties:
• Provide IT Support to our nationwide sites
• Deal with support tickets and first level IT issues
• Travel to regional sites on occasion.
• Participate in planned hardware and software changes
• Network configuration/support
Skills required:
• 3rd Level or equivalent IT qualification
• Full driving license essential
• Enthusiastic with a willing to learn
• Good IT troubleshooting skills
• Good organisational and communication skills
Exposure to some/all of the following desirable: Training will be provided on areas needing exposure.
• Knowledge of Retail POS Systems would be a distinct advantage
• Helpdesk/Remote IT Support
• Computer hardware and software maintenance
• MS Office Suite of applications
• Windows 10/11 configuration and support
• Windows Server O/S
• TCP/IP (Networking)
• Active Directory
• Microsoft Exchange (is this old system) and Office 365
• Remote Desktop Applications e.g. RDP, TeamViewer etc.
• Anti-Virus/Malware/Network Security
• PBX and Hosted Telephony Solutions
• Virtualisation technologies - HyperV and VMWare
