Front Office Manager
The Front Office Manager will ensure that the customer receives a warm welcome and an excellent, personalised and efficient service at all times while dealing with any member of the Front Office Team
Duties & Responsibilities:
Create and amend SOPs for the department, to follow all standards, policies, and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
·To act as a Duty Manager on occasion. Recruit, train & manage the front office and night teams.
· Manage and agree rosters to cover the hotels requirements.
·Gain product knowledge to promote and drive the hotel rooms and facilities actively.
· To action all enquiries, taken by telephone, email or in person, promptly and maintain a high standard of customer service whilst doing so.
·To ensure that all reservations are captured and confirmed in a timely and courteous manner in accordance with Killaloe Hotel & Spa policy.
·Manage daily handover briefing at the beginning of morning/evening shift to ensure hotel events or special requirements for the day are communicated to all relevant.
·Receive and register guests on arrival in line with company check-in procedures.
·Liaise with Housekeeping Department on guest requirements.
·Liaise with Housekeeping Department to ascertain the availability of cleaned and checked rooms which may be required for early check-in.
·Liaise with F&B department to ensure breakfast, lunch and dinner and other related bookings are taken.
· Liaise with Sionna Spa to support call answering and bookings are completed in a timely manner.
· Liaise with Sales, Marketing & Events to ensure promotions are outlined to entire front office.
·Manage systems for group & event bookings and providing clear guest feedback. Manage the day-to-day bookings and requirements of Corporate and Tour Operators clients.
· Ensure that a complete handover is done with the on-coming shift and that any checklists, reports and tasks have been completed.
· To ensure that entries in the Reslynx system are accurate and complete in accordance with SOP.
· Conduct team training and regular evaluations to ensure that customer service is consistently of a high quality.
·To monitor all front office cash transactions, float and till procedures and to ensure that procedures are carried out in accordance with Killaloe Hotel & Spa policy.
· Be familiar and liaise with local tourist attractions, amenities and activities and be able to assist customers with their requirements.
· Manage various platforms for guest reviews.
