Payment and Timesheets
CPL Jobs operates an efficient, organised timesheet system in order to pay temporary staff on a weekly basis.
Timesheets can be downloaded from CPL Jobs’ website by candidates. Temporary workers complete their time sheets on a weekly basis before passing them to the relevant supervisor in the company they are working to be authorised.
Once a candidate’s timesheet has been authorised, the candidate must fax it to the number provided by their consultant in CPL Jobs.
Timesheets must be received by a specified time each week in order for payment to be processed and paid the next week. Timesheets received after this deadline will not be processed until the following week.
Temporary candidates are required to provide their recruitment consultant at CPL Jobs with the following details prior to commencing a temporary assignment:
- Bank details
- Account holder
- PPS number

How temps can make a good impression in an interview
Although an interview is not required for all temporary positions, it is always good for candidates to be prepared for an interview.
To make a good impression at interview, CPL Jobs consultants offer the following advice to temporary work candidates:
Always research the company. Research includes reading information provided by a CPL Jobs consultant or reading information on the company website. You should be aware of the company’s competitors, target markets and customers, prior to the interview.
Dress appropriately in professional office attire.
Try not to be nervous. You will be better able to sell yourself if you are calm, clear and confident.
Ensure you make regular eye contact with the interviewer and don’t forget to smile!
Be honest and truthful about your experience and achievements in the workplace.
Prepare your own questions in advance of the interview. Practice answering them with friends, family or in front of the mirror.
